Departments

As a dynamic church we have Affinity Groups defined by age, sex, common background and language that meet monthly. These groups help to reach out to the specific needs of each group providing a seamless interface consequently promoting a sense of togetherness in overall fellowship.

Also some ministries within GCM…

Integration

This department has the responsibility to accomplish the vision and mandate of the ministry by relating with members, new comers and bringing them into becoming one community.

  • The primary responsibility is to focus on those who left their homes to come to Church, and in one way or the other shows interest in becoming members of the Church
  • Receives the new people that come to Church, and through purposeful visitation follow them up until they become planted in the Church
  • Devising responsible ways of going out to bring others into the Church. This shows that the task of this department go beyond the Church walls.

Counselling

Where there is no counsel, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. Prov. 11: 14

Whilst Glory Christian Ministries International prides itself in catering for the spiritual needs of the members, we also appreciate the need to cater for their emotional needs also. The Counselling unit was set up for precisely that reason; counselling people in times of distress and pain.
The department boasts of qualified and seasoned counsellors well grounded in the Scriptures who proffer solutions to whatever problems and challenges brought before them.

Counselors are available at the church premises on Sundays, after service, and on Saturdays between 5.30pm and 8.00pm.
